North Nixa Baptist Church in Nixa, MO, turned to Paragon for a budget-friendly renovation with minimal service disruption. Using a design-build approach, Paragon fabricated custom elements off-site, tested the fit, and completed the installation in just weeks. The renovation enhanced the church's aesthetic, making it feel larger, more inviting, and better suited for digital services.

The Switch to Streaming

Making a strong first impression on guests is more important than ever, especially with the rise of online church services. Recognizing this, North Nixa Baptist Church decided to modernize its space to enhance the appearance of its streaming services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The church understood the need to adapt in order to continue providing meaningful experiences for members and trusted Paragon to help achieve this. They aimed to create an inviting environment for both in-person and digital guests. With limited space, Paragon designed visually appealing staging elements that maximized the functional use of the stage without compromise.

Designed to Last

North Nixa Baptist Church wanted a visually appealing sanctuary for their multi-generational congregation, both in-person and online.Working with the Paragon family of companies, North Nixa Baptist Church added a faux stone wall, modesty walls for depth, and illuminated columns with custom cross sconces. LED lighting with customizable colors was integrated into the design for long-term flexibility.

New house lighting and illuminated columns extended the stage design into the seating area, creating an immersive, inviting atmosphere that encourages congregation participation in worship.

Built on a Budget

North Nixa Baptist Church was concerned about their limited budget before starting the project. Paragon worked closely with the church, discussing the project scope and identifying areas where church members could contribute.

Paragon's Interior Design team recommended several cost-effective solutions, such as painting the ceiling black to create the illusion of a larger space and hiding equipment, as well as suggesting color palettes for the carpet and seating. The renovation has positioned North Nixa Baptist Church for continued ministry growth and a greater impact both in-person and online.
