Overview

Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation (HFE) owns and operates 22 properties across ten states, including Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson Belle, Talking Rocks Caverns, White Water Park, Dollywood, Splash Country, and the Dolly Parton Stampede attractions. HFE also operates Stone Mountain Park in Georgia and owns Wild Adventures Theme Park.

Paragon has worked with HFE since 1990, providing audio, video, and lighting design and installation for various park properties. Our work includes sound reinforcement, audio effects for rides, and distributed audio for numerous indoor and outdoor theater venues across the parks.

• Audio systems for the 4,000 seat premier Grand Palace Theater, Branson, MO

• Audio, video, lighting & rigging systems at Showboat Branson Belle

• Lighting & scenic work for the 4D effects theater at Stone Mountain Park

• Audio, video & lighting work for Celebration City theme park

• Opening of Grand Exposition section of park at Silver Dollar City

• Multiple audio, video & lighting upgrades at flagship theaters

• Elaborate, networked, digital audio systems for multiple attractions

• Large-format outdoor audio systems for 5,000 seat outdoor amphitheater

• New exterior audio systems for Silver Dollar City’s Uptown Christmas

• High performance, networked audio systems for Time Traveler, Silver Dollar Cities newest Coaster

In 2019, Paragon played a key role in enhancing Silver Dollar City by implementing new networked, digital audio systems for a renovated section of the park, as well as audio systems for the park’s Christmas tree production. They also installed new LED walls for the theatrical Christmas shows. This work is a testament to Paragon’s longstanding partnership with Herschend Family Entertainment, which has spanned over three decades. Throughout this collaboration, Paragon has consistently provided innovative solutions for all of HFE's AVL needs. From large-scale theater audio systems to sophisticated lighting and video designs for attractions and seasonal events, Paragon ensures that each element of the parks' entertainment is supported by high-quality, reliable technology.
